Last November, Peer Group teamed up with Wear It Pink for Breast Cancer Awareness Month, an annual worldwide campaign involving millions of people to highlight the importance of breast cancer awareness, education and research.
This year, 55,000 women will have to deal with hearing the words “breast cancer” and 11,500 women will die from it. Research holds the key to a future where these situations don’t exist anymore. A future, where, by 2050 every woman who develops breast cancer will live and will live well.
This matter affects each and everyone of us in a different way, and being able to raise awareness of this, whilst also collecting donations to help reach their goal sooner is something that we are proud to be a part of.
For this day, not only did all our office wear pink as you can see on the pictures, but we also ate pink sweets and had pink boas and balloons across the office.
Peer Group is proud to say we raised £140 for Wear it Pink in 2018 and we hope to keep contributing to this cause in the years to come.
