Wear it Pink!

Breast Cancer Now’s Wear It Pink Day is one of the biggest fundraising events in the UK with a total of 33 million pounds being raised to date.

This event is extremely important as all the money raised on the day goes towards vital breast cancer research and support. Last year, a total of 1.6 million was raised by over 19,000 people taking part worldwide. Even you can get involved by doing activities such as, organising raffles, holding cake sales or simply asking friends, family or colleagues for donations. All you have to do is wear something pink!

     

This year, the event took place on October 18th, and our whole office took part by coming into work wearing pink. Here at the Peer Group, our employees managed to raise a delightful amount of cash, while including their gift aid donations, bringing the figure to £240 in aid of breast cancer research. Furthermore, Peer Group generously offered to match the amount raised, bringing our donation to a grand total of £480!
