Guests were welcomed with champagne on arrival and delicious canapés, a fun photo booth with accessories, a DJ, and a great performances from the stunning Strictly Come Dancing Tour dancers. It was lovely to see our Peer Group community come together to celebrate the ending of a hard-hitting year and the beginning of a new chapter.
We want to take this opportunity to thank you all for the efforts made this year, in the fight against Covid-19, everyone has had a part to play. Whether that is our NHS staff on the front line, whose work will have helped to save many lives from the virus, or other key workers who have kept essential services going, to those who have cancelled social opportunities and stayed at home wherever possible, and of course those who have given their time voluntarily to help support those most in need. This crisis has brought out the best in many people and I hope that our community spirit will endure when life gets back to normal.
Peer Group would like to end by wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Wherever and with whomever you are spending the festive period, we hope that everyone will have a chance to relax and enjoy the company of loved ones, and that 2022 is a more positive year for us all!
