On Thursday the 12th of October, charity organisation Living Bankside partnered up with Peer Group to host a wonderful social event bringing together businesses, residents and other key members of the Southwark community together.

Living Bankside focuses on highlighting partnerships with specific venues, businesses or organisations, which aim to:

Bring together key stakeholders and decision makers

Provide regular opportunities for networking and communication between stakeholders

Promote a sense of belonging to the neighbourhood

The social event was hosted at our distinguished Hop Exchange, situated in the centre of London Bridge, where attendees could gather together and enjoy an evening filled with great food, drink, live music and entertainment.

Throughout the evening, those in attendance had the pleasure of hearing from both the Executive Chairman of Living Bankside, Amir Eden and The Mayor of Southwark, Michael Situ,  who spoke about the importance of building a greater community through the connections of businesses and residents all over Southwark, as well as gaining insight into the upcoming redevelopment plans for The Hop Exchange, presented by Peer Group’s Managing Director, Howard Dawson.

Living Bankside have organised a number of events such as this over the last two years with a range of partners who sponsor and support such gatherings spreading over a variety of venues across Bankside, Borough and SE1.

Peer Group thanks this charity for allowing us to be a part of a great event and for its continuous commitment to bring about positive change to the area.
